This was the status of things before the most recent snowfall...
And then another 7 inches of wet snow fell.. on top of the 6 we got last week. Fairbanks has not seen so much snow for quite a few years (I think 2004?) so a lot of people who have not lived here for very long are completely shocked by the amount of snow. We're holding onto an average snowfall total for this winter... hooray! :-D
The bottom stair to my porch has disappeared.. we will see it again in another month. We are packing 30 inches of snow on the ground, and I bet we will still see a bit more. Let it snow!
I just might be able to ski on my birthday this year!
