Grasping the reality that one can ski/bike/run/snowmachine/drive across a wide river without worrying about falling in still completely boggles my mind. The time was right to try it out on a beautiful day like today. I rounded up a few interested friends and we headed to the edge of town for a ski down the Tanana.
The snow was very very packed down and icy in spots. Conditions were just right for an enjoyable afternoon. We could actually feel the radiation from the sun being absorbed by our clothing. It was awesome!
